On the basis of that post, I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Proofreading and editing software should only ever be used as a complement to one's eye. These are ancillary tools, not replacement tools. In some cases they can increase efficiency, particularly with regard to checking references or helping with consistency. No software can do the job for you though.

Maybe I've jumped to a horrendous conclusion and you're not a forum spammer seeking backlinks to the organisation you originally linked to in your profile. I would love to be proved wrong on this one. I have to admit, they don't normally reply, but various pointers - i.e. a link to a commercial website; no apparent aptitude for English on a British proofreading (or should that be preefreading?) forum; and two more or less meaningless comments which happen to contain (or would do if they were spelt correctly) keywords relevant to the aforementioned commercial organisation - would set alarm bells ringing in the mind of any forum owner. Call it a sixth sense, if you like. Apologies will be forthcoming and profuse if the test of time leads me to believe I've jumped to this conclusion wrongly.

Try another forum then. One that doesn't mind spammers.

Why would anyone want software to proofread, when you are charging clients a fee to do it for them? The client has a right to assume human competence ... no?
