CV stuff

Postby Bumbadum » Sun Mar 15, 2009 3:40 pm

Hi all. A quick CV question if I may.

In terms of adding in experience to my CV, obviously I want to be a bit more specific than "I edited a book then I edited an essay and then I edited a website", but i'm not sure how far to take it with the detail for each entry. Should I include details of the subject matter? The author? The editing required? Anything else?

Any help muchos appreciated as always.

Sorry; another post that slipped under my radar.

The best CV is one that's tailored to the intended recipient. That's not to say a pack of lies, but certain things can be emphasised. I'm not sure about putting authors' names in there unless they are happy with that, but I would say the size and nature of the job (maybe even details like the deadline and how much research you had to do) are important to potential employers.
