There are three tests in this course.

First is a simple story with some deliberate mistakes in them that you’ll need to spot. This limbering up exercise will just get you in the mood for becoming an error spotter.

Second we have a full proofreading test, where you will start with a style guide, an edited manuscript and a set of galley proofs (which should be printed off) and you will need to mark up the proofs so that it instructs an imaginary typesetter. You’ll then be able to look at the corrected proofs, compare them with your own and finally download what the finished product would look like.

Third, you can endure this 30-question test, which covers all aspects of the course.
